Defining Project SuccessMy goal is simple; I endeavor to empathize and understand the needs of both the stakeholder and the user and to advocate for a more human experience.
I employ research techniques including interviewing, surveys, and personas to develop meaningful data. I then distill that data through a process of card-sorting, empathy mapping, user stories, journeys, and flows. Once the pain points have been defined, I vet my ideas in workshops, brainstorming sessions, mind mapping and storyboarding. My proposed solution is then roughed out in low fidelity sketches, further developed in wireframes, and finally brought to life in hi-fidelity prototypes. In the final step I evaluate the efficacy of the solution by conducting Usability Testing and Synthesis to determine if the experience meets the definition of success for bother the stakeholder and the user. |
My approach is simple; through a 5-step Process of Discovery, Definition, Ideation, Prototyping, and Evaluation, I strive to understand the pain points that both the stakeholder and the user experience as they progress toward their needs. |
